As the title suggests, I would like to know what the pro's and con's of these three contrasting methods are for digital music.

What sort of things can be done to achieve better sound quality within these three setups.

Is there anything which someone should look for in choosing between the three.

Finally, Understanding that sound quality matters most, is an audiophile program running on Windows based PC to the USB DAC considerably better then a NAS connected to a network media player (ie. SONOS CONNECT, Cambridge Audio Stream magic 6 or Pioneer N-50) both with/without DAC inbetween amplification process.

It would be good if what hifi spent some time reviewing and informing readers of these options too.

With digital music becoming more and more common, and lossless audio becoming the standard, this is very important.

Interesting to know what the experts think!

Regards.
