LACIE NAS storage drive

Hi was looking for a drive for use with the sonos set up saw a 1tb lacie drive for £140 looks good but anyone had experience of these? is it as simple as connecting the two via ethernet cable. Thanks

Do you mean the Neil Poulton, black Lacie drive? If so I have just bought one to increase the capacity on my Thecus. Seems like a cracking little drive, very quiet compared to Lacie drives I've had in the past. I don't have a Sonos though it should work if you leave it in SMB. You will need to attach the NAS to a router though, it's not as simple as plugging it straight in.

Hi thats the one i saw it for £140 delivered for 1tb which seems incredibly cheap and it looks pretty nice from the photos well considering its a hard drive! Ive got a Bt home hub so will use that. Might be the one to go for then thanks for that!
