hi res flac music

hi i have just bought acer aspire one top range model . i am new to computing will i be able to download linn flac hi res music  .on the acer and burn to external drive or any other hi res downloads -- my son is in- i.t and trying to show me basics in computing but is working in holland at moment so need a little advice

Assuming you have a connection to the internet and a CD burning drive, then yes, I believe so.

Why do you want to burn FLAC to a CD? I would convert the FLAC file to WAV during the burn process so that you will be more likely to be able to play the CD on a CDP.

If you want to backup the files you have downloaded, then consider an external CD drive. More convenience IMO and probably more economical too. I've got this one.
