Tehcn Issue, any ideas?

I have a bluetooth speaker unit that I'm trying to connect to from my Win7 laptop. The laptop finds and pairs with the speaker fine, seeing it as a bluetooth headset, but as soon as it pairs, all sound ceases. No sound comes out of either the speaker or the laptop's drivers.

I've done some rooting around and have read that Win7 doesn't have a bluetooth audio stack included... whatever that means!

I have a broadcom chip inside my Samsung laptop, and I've checked that both that and the Windows BluetoothInumerator also listed in my device list are up to date re drivers. It makes no difference.

Anybody got any ideas? If my Broadcom software is up to date and still no joy, I am struggling to think what to try next.

Cheers.

Check your sound settings.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Microsoft. In their wisdom they decided not to include the bluetooth audio drivers in windows 7.
