Aiport Express or Squeezebox old with analogue input

I am planing to buy either Airport express or Squesbox older model not the duet to setup listening to my hugh mp3 collection in the livising room connecting to Rega Brio and B&W DM 303 speakers. However I heard either of two (Aiport express and Squeezebox) are not as good  with analogue signal as with digital, unfortunately I don't have digital-in on my Rega Brio so wondering if it's true or should I go for SB Duet or some other solution. Also between the two which one is better sounding option.

 I am more inclined for Aiport express as it is cheaper and I do have iphone so can make use of excellent remote. Any advices?
