Windows 8 and hidden itunes files.

Afternoon all.
Recently lost my hard drive, including my itunes library.
I know how to 'untick' the hidden files box in windows xp to allow me to transfer my files back accross but my new laptop is running windows 8 and I dont know the procedure.
I like the look of windows 8 and I'm looking forward to getting to grips with it. in the meantime could someone tell me how to get my music back please?

Move your mousee to the top-right corner so that the side menu appears. Select settings from this menu and then control panel.
Hidden files/folders is under 'Appearance and Personalization'
