What's The Best / Easiest/ Cheapest Way To Add A PC?
Following a PC upgrade I have enough left over bits'n'pieces to build a media PC to add to the home AV setup.
The PC is based around an Intel Q9650 Core2-Quad CPU running at 3 GHz, 8 gigs of RAM and a 1 terabyte Western Digital Caviar Back SATA-2 (3 gigs / sec) hard disk.Importantly, the motherboard has wired ethernet connectivity plus an "n" wireless card, and USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports on the back.
Wired connection to out internet modem (cable speed) is not an option at the mo.I want to use the PC as part of the home AV setup, principally to stream ripped CD audio and to access Netflix and internerd radio.
The receiver is an Onkyo TX-NR717.
I also have a satellite box and BluRay hooked up to the Onkyo receiver by HDMI (and also directly to the TV by the second HDMI from the BluRay and component video from the satellite).
The TV is a Panasonic 60-inch plasma with three HDMIs, component video and an SVGA-in for the PC.
How doI hook up the PC?
