Transferring Music files
English

Does transferring music by usb (a cheapy  sub £10 amazon one at that) reduce the quality of file playback when you go back to re-play it off the same speakers & computer.

I mean does the file deteriorate or some of the information on file get eroded away the more you transfer etc.

I might be acting paranoid, but I swear it sounds different now, (not as dynamic/ warm...doesn't hit the highs like it used & the bass doesn't extend as far).

nope, doesn't make any difference in the situation you describe.  If it did, computers would cease to function.  Any difference you are hearing is in your noggin Biggrin

Probably the device that you use to transfer might be having a low data reading speed. So when you plug it into any player the files are read in a lower speed.
