Hi,

I just won a squeezebox radio for £65 second hand on ebay and was just wondering if there is anything I need to be aware of in terms of the change in the logitech devices to UE instead of squeezebox? I am not massively computer literate so I may need things spelt out to me. I will be using it for spotify and internet rado for now and will possibly add a nas and touch to my main system in the future. I was going to use an app for control, sounds like ipeng is good, do people have any other recomendations? Is there an android equivilent as I have an android tablet and my wife has an android phone.

Any help would be great!

RE: support and issues with the squeezbox changes?

You should move to using a NAS with a local install of Logitech Media Server. mysqueezebox.com is likely to get minimal attention from Logitech. It went pear-shaped during hurrican Sandy

Don't be tempted to try the Logitech UE Radio firmware, AFAIK there's no going back and no interoperability with the Touch

Logitech do an basic Android control app and there are paid for versions - everything you need to know here - http://forums.slimdevices.com/
