So who's ripped the most CDs
...and how long did it take you?
I started on the 06 August and so far I've ripped 322 albums spanning 434 CDs (lots of multi-disc). There's 6,512 tracks, which according to iTunes, if played end-to-end would last 16 days 23 hours 41 minutes and 16 seconds. I have about 50 CDs left to do, maybe slightly more but not by much. I could have done more in the same amount of time but I don't know what kind of mental-state I would now be in. It's only the frequent sanity-breaks that have stopped me from losing my mind.
So far....and counting......my iTunes as of this moment shows.........
42,331 tracks,
3992 albums,
121.7 days,
1,070.74 GB.................
This has had to be ripped twice, due to being a 'plonker', when setting up my NAS and managing to erase the path to the HDD, so my PC couldn't see it...and the only option was to reformat.....ouch.....
I wouldn't like to guess how long this has taken me, but many, many hours, days, weeks, months...etc......
Richard..........I promise not to touch too many buttons on my laptop........
I have enough to last 14 Days 10 Hrs 45 Mins and 15secs. Did mine so many each Month over the past 6 months or so.All Backed up on separate HDD.

No prize for you then
Zigg47 has ripped 3992 albums. (Twice!)
If he listens for two hours a day, every single day, he has enough to last almost 5 years without every hearing the same track twice.

I've ripped about 350 CDs (and have a little under 500 GB music), and the reason I bought a RipNas was to make it painless..........and it was.
The RipNas is beside where I sit, and any time I was in the room would bung them in.......which was around 20 CDs in an evening and more at a weekend. It took all the stress out of it.
