Meridian Explorer - Recommended speakers

Can any of the WHF team tell me which PC speakers the Meridian Explorer was tested with? Can everyone else please make recommendations?
I was looking at the Audioengine 2 and Corsair SP2500.

While you await a reply, may I suggest that they probably tested it with:-
a. some headphones
and perhaps also
b. an amplifier and regular hifi speakers.
However, these PC speakers are well rated and from a proper hifi brand:-

AV: Sony Bravia KDL-32EX503 telly, BDP-S370 player with QED HDMI. Currently unused: Denon AVR-1705, DVD-1710, KEF KHT1005.2
