iTunes' catalogue
So what glaring omissions are there in iTunes (music) catalogue?
I didn't even realise that iTunes didn't have AC/DC until recently, when a banner in the iTunes store announced their arrival.
In my naive little world I thought that now the Beatles are oboard, iTunes had pretty much everything from all the major labels except deleteds.
Sometimes it's just a few albums that are missing and not a complete artist. E.g.: 'Zoolook' and I think 'Rendez-vous' are missing from their Jean-Michel Jarre selection, but I figured it was because the albums had been deleted. Why have some albums available for purchase and not others?
I agree, but I just wondered why some artists' works are only partially represented in the store, and which artists are still unavailable.
Well I just had a quick (or what passes for quick on the iTunes site) look and I can't see Labi Siffre or the Fabulous Poodles.
I can't be bothered to look any more.

12 albums at least. (I didn't click 'show all').

I only ever bought a few downloads before I found that my own - iTunes - rips from CD were better sounding (even at the equivalent 256k AAC).
I now rip every CD in Apple Lossless ('master copy' on iMac) and selected stuff in 320k AAC VBR (for syncing to a 32GB iPhone and using via AirPlay).
I doubt I will ever need to buy any iTunes downloads unless CDs become unavailable. (Choice on CD is still far superior and cheaper.)
