I have just copied a lot of my FLAC files to my netbook in prep for my holiday. What is the best free software for playing FLAC files
Nait 5i-2, Naim CD5i-2, KEF Q300, ZP90, Zonebridge
Foobar 2000 is the standard answer, lots of plugins available if you fancy tweaking it too. It's also pretty lightweight so runs well on a netbook.
One other alternative that springs to mind is XBMC - it will add them to a nice library with covers, band photos etc.
+1 for Foobar2000 and a nice skin for it e.g. the ones you can find on deviantart
