Hi, I'm interested in the Sony BDP-S185 blu-ray player (due to its small size) which got an okay review here at WH. However the sound should'nt be that impressive, which I assume is tested through HDMI? How about through the coaxial digital out? Would something like an Cambridge Audio DAC improve the sound quality or is the basic sound quality of the player just not improvable? I mean if it sound lean and flat through HDMI, why should a DAC improve the sound through the digial out? I will only use it with stereo, not surround.
