Problems with audio sync on Samsung 3D LED and Samsung home cinema
I've just bought a Samsung 46" 6-series LED TV and a Samsung HT-D4500 5.1 Blu-ray cinema system. I want to listen to the TV through the cinema system all of the time, and can't get the audio sync right (mouths are ahead of the sound).
The system is wired as follows:
Sky HD box -> TV: Chord HDMI 1.3
Sky box -> cinema box: Monster optical cable
Cinema box -> TV: Audioquest HDMI
I read that I have to enable HDMI audio on the cinema box. When I select the HDMI 2 input on the TV, I get the message 'Connecting Anynet+ device'. In settings I enable HDMI audio, but there doesn't appear to be a way of saving this. Going back to the TV on HDMI 1 I get 'Disconnecting Anynet+ device'. The audio sync appears to be right now. If I then switch off the TV, the cinema box goes off as well. When you switch it all on again, the HDMI audio setting is always off.
I don't understand why the sync should be out anyway when I've connected an optical cable anyway.
The TV and cinema have the facility to adjust the audio 'negatively' whereas I want to 'speed it up'.
Any help gratefully appreciated. (The instruction books and the e-manual aren't helpful here).
