Just about all of my music is now stored on a NAS drive and played via my computer. I am looking at upgrading and my quandary is this: what should I do with the 50-odd SACDs and DVD-As in my collection. The SACDs are a particular problem as (correct me if I am wrong) there is no way to rip the SACD layer into the computer. I quite like the look, sound and facilities offered by the Sony BDP-S790 player which could spin SACDs into, say a Cambridge streamer as well as doing duty for playing films. But will it play DVD-A in all its glory? Would a dedicated SACD player be a better bet? Would an OPPO or Cambridge universal player with a digital input be a better solution?

Opininions please. excellent!
