Can not figure out what are the key differences betwiin the players. Also Which of them would match VSX-922 best?

What do you mean by "matching VSX-922 best"? Aesthetically or otherwise?

If they match aestetically is easy to say and that is not what I meant. I thought of a component class, ie. if they are on the same quality level and that one does not under- or over-perform in relation to what the other can handle.

I would stay away from all Pioneer players, they aren't what they used to be and seem to constantly be riddled with bugs. I'd look at something more stable to crack out your movies with.
