Panasonic 310/Onkyo 875.Perfect 2D/3D picture on Panasonic AE4000 projector .No sound.

Using the second HDMI connection from the Panasonic to the Onkyo I cannot get any sound.The HDMI light keeps flashing and then after around 20 seconds it shows NO SIGNAL.What am I doing wrong?The manual clearly states that the second HDMI is for carrying the digital sound formats to a AV amp.
Have you set the HDMI Audio Output to on and the Video Out (Sub) to V.Off?
