Noise coming from Denon DBP 2012UD when loading disc

Please Help,

I recently purchased a Denon DBP 2012UD blue ray player after reading the good what hi fi reviews. The problem i have

experienced with this machine is that as soon as you load any sort of blue ray disc it starts to make a louder than average

mechanical humming noise. I have used a  number of discs but the result is the same. Can  anyone

 tell me  if they are aware of this problem  and how best to deal with it.

If anyone has this machine, please let me know what seetings you have it on. The internal picture and sound controls

seem a little complex and are little beyond my understanding
