New Sony Blu-ray Player Bdp-S390.
I see sony are releasing a new Blu-ray player the Bdp-S390. Argos say they have them in stock, but the Sony website says it won't be released till mid April.

Clare, as per the news story, the S390 is meant to have 3D support as well. But that does not appear to be the case on Sony's website. Probably that's the difference between the S390 & S490.
Again, we've known Sony to change tech specs between initial announcement and actual product, too. Will check it out....
Amazon, Argos and eBay seem to be selling this already.

EDIT: The CES announcements, which are really for the US market, have the S390 and S590 available in February and the S790 available April.
Ah, but the WHF CES story was written after talking to Sony UK, not just Sony US. But as said, things often change in specs and release dates after initial launch - certainly looks like the S390 carries on from S380....
My local Sony Centre has the S390 in store on demo right now.
Already discounting it at £104.
Clicky nice, quite tempted to get one as an upgrade for the bedroom Sony BDP-S380.

As you'll see, latest info is an April release for the BDP-S390. But Sony has been known to change its mind
