Is a Panasonic BD310 better than a Pioneer BD 51FD

I have a Pioneer BD51 upgraded to the latest firmware, playing through a Pioneer LX53 AV amp to a Sony TV.

I hope to upgrade the TV in the sales, to a Panasonic VT30 series.

Some suppliers bundle a Panasonic BD210 or for a small fee a BD310.

Is it worth changing my BluRay source (I don't need 3D) or should I negotiate a better deal on the TV?

I've just changed to a 310 from a 51fd. Not a massive amount of difference, if any. It is at least as good though.

ThanQ. So really its just the addition of 3D, I'll be OK with Blu Ray DVD.
