Gladiator and screen saver

Hi,

Just bought gladiator ,the extended cut.everytime I pause the film,after a few minutes the universal screen saver appears and I can not play the disc,I have to stop the film and go through the start menus again.

Any ideas why please

Hi,

All universal blurays i have do this but you don't have to stop the movie and start it again just press the enter or select key on your remote or in some cases the play button and the movie will resume where you paused it, it's on there to stop any image retention or screen burn from pausing the movie for long periods of time but it's a bit of a pain that you can't just turn the feature off.

Thanks old boy,if I press options then select pop up option the films starts,strange that play,pause etc has no effect .
