bly ray player bdp 71 cant get it to show in 1080p only showing in 1080i

hey i am having issues with my blu ray player it keeps saying at the top 1080i when i know it can support 1080p , i checked my xbox and 1080p comes up when i use that

 

is it the cable or the settings bc i tried everything even put the hdmi in another port didnt work 

 

any help would be great
