Yamaha RX-V671 with TDL RTL-G30 as front speakers
Hi Everyone,
I own of a pair of TDL RTL-G30 speakers.
For more that 10 years they were connected to a YAMAHA AX-392 amplifier.
They were all serving me very well and I have had a lot of fun with them.
Now I wanted to upgrade my system by replacing the AX-392 with a YAMAHA RX-V671.
But a salesman from a "specialized local store" told me that my speakers are too big and to good for that kind of amplifier,
that even my current amplifier is too weak and that I have to look for some huger amplifiers that would be able to drive the speakers properly.
I find it very hard to believe.
That's why I would like to ask you, what do you have to say about connecting a YAMAHA RX-V671 to a pair of TDL RTL-G30's as front speakers?
Would I really need a bigger amplifier like RX-A1010?
Thanks,
