Yamaha RX-V473 vs Denon AVR-1803

I am thinking of upgrading my current Denon AVR-1803 receiver to the Yamaha RX-473 receiver.

The reason is only the lack of HDMI ports on the Denon. 

But besides that, I am still very happy with the Denon. So now I need to convince myself that the Yamaha is also beter 'soundwise'.

So my question to you, is it? Or does the 'old' Denon have a better hifi sound quality to play cd's through my Beresford TC-7520 DAC.
