Which would suit my speakers best????
Hi all,
I have sold my recent 2nd hand Yamaha RX-V1800 as it didn't do video/audio passthrough which is important as wife and nipper just want to watch tv without amp on or BD without amp on.
So new choice would be Pioneer VSX2021 £499
Or Yamaha RX-A810 £549, speakers are in my sig.
Any other recommendations for around £500 new or 2nd hand would be massively appreciated.
MUST PASSTHROUGH video/audio in STANDBY.
Many thanks for your continued support.
Darrell

Glad you managed to sell it, and I know, and you know how I know, where you managed to sell it!
I'd go with the Yamaha
I knew you would say that lol.
Thanks anyway.

How did you know I'd say that?! I thought I was being a little bit unpredictable there...
i have the A-810, great bit of kit, highly recommend it. i have it with BX5's and i never cease's to amaze me when i play some good quality audio through it.
i also have the same issue of wife/child & kids tv etc, it works a treat not having to have the surround on just for my little lads tv!

Hi tj27
Nice one
As i've often said Yamaha AV amplification + Monitor Audio speakers form a great match time after time
Anyway i hope that you enjoy the performance of your system for many years to come
All the best
