TV & Sat audio connection between Samsung TV and Pioneer SC-LX82 Receiver

Advice wanted please.  How should I best connect my Samsung UE46D8000TV to my Pioneer SC-LX82 amp, which doesn't have audio return channel?  I have the HDMI from my Sky+ connected to the TV/SAT input on the amp.  So how do I connect the TV's optical audio out to listen to the TV's own audio via the amp when I'm watching a source other than satellite, eg Freeview, Freesat or the internet on the TV?  Do I need to connect it to another input (eg Video) and re-assign the inputs on the amp?  Or is there some way I can route the satellite audio out through the TV to the amp so that the TV/SAT input always mirrors whatever video is being displayed on the screen?
