sony str dh 820 amp

i have a new sony 820 amp and boston speaker system,i have set it up using the supplied mic and have the crossover at 120(boston recommendation)but i am getting siblance!Anyone with a solution?

Is that through all speakers or just the subwoofer? how loud is it?

Another recommendation is after the initial setup, use an SPL meter ( use a tripod with it ) to check speaker levels using the test signal from the amp at your required sweet spot.

Speakers - Dali Ikon 6 F L/R, Ikon Vocal 2 Centre, Ikon 1 Surround, B&W 610 Subwoofer.
TV - Calibrated Sony 46 HX853. BDP - Sony mr BDPS790, PS3, PS4.
A/V Amp - Yamaha RXV 1073

centre speaker only,may be the auto calibration,options are full flat,front reference and off,to get rid of it i have it at off but then the sound is "flabby"

I've just had a quick read of the manual check page 93 about hums & noises, if you dont have the manual you can see / download the PDF version online Here 

The auto callibration options shouldnt give it a hum effect after its completed & youve exited the function, so i would double check all the speaker connections are good.
