Right speakers combo for ONKYO TX-NR515

I'm thinking of buying an Onkyo TX-NR515 AV system. I've recently read an artical highlighting how the wrong combo of AV and speakers can sound terrible regardless of how much you spend. I'm in no way qualified to combine systems and am worried I might get it wrong.
Can anyone who has experience in this matter advise me of a good set of 5 or 5.1 speakers for general blu ray playback and itunes music streaming?
