Recommend 5.1 Reciever to Replace Musical Fidelity A3.2 with as good a stereo sound

Looking to replace a Musical Fidelity A3.2 stereo amp with a 5.1 reciever.

Can anyone recommend a suitable 5.1 reciever that will sound as good when playing music as this is very important.

I dont need any fancy extras (except for networking) like apps etc or lots of HDMI outputs.
