Onkyo 606 and Kef 2005.3 Upgrade
Hi All
The audio side of my home cinema system is an Onkyo 606 combined with Kef 2005.3 speakers.
I'm thinking about upgrading the amp as i still love the convenience and low visual impact of the Kefs.
I've obviously done a bit of research and been reading a lot of good things about the new Yamaha 673, but i would like to get some opinions from the experts on if this would be a good upgrade for me.
I've seen the amp for £399 on line which sounds a good deal given the reviews.
Thanks in advance
Lee.
Thanks for the reply.
I've had the amp for 4years and just thought technology must have moved on a bit since.
I also quite like the idea of being able to control all my av gear with my iPad.
Another question then:
If the yamaha would be a sideways step, what would be a forward step?
Mainly used for sky hd viewing, blu rays and Apple TV (music and movies)

While I think the Yamaha is a better amplifier than the Onkyo you have, it's a sideways move unless you need some specific feature it has.
