my av setup

hello folks,i'm new to all this but have been into home cinema for the last 8 years or so an have started to put together a cheap but nice set up i have samsung ue40d6100 tv, sony vpl-hs2 projector, an 84??? inch pull up screen, (am not sure of the make), a sony playstation 3 and at the moment a sony dav-s888 surround sound system... anyway i'm wondering what receiver i should buy for about 300 quidish???? and was hoping you guys could help also i want to set it all up properly and get the most from what i have, any ideas thanks for taking the time to read my post and i look forward to any replies

I would suggest you have a look for a Denon AVR1911, it's 3D capable and going for a little over £300. It only has 1 HDMI out so you will have to use a splitter for you projector, or swap the lead over of course.

What speaker package where you thinking of getting to match the AVR?

+1 to the above post.

There are quite a few choices for A/V amps in your price range at around £300 or lower, including the one mentioned above,  this years & last years models. A few below for your parousal, are all 3D capable.  You should demo the speakers you like at the same time with the amp.

i recently purchased a pioneer vsx-420 and its beautiful, best bit about it was it was only 100 pounds! not exactly exploding with features but still has your usual hdmi output/inputs and optical connections and it im highly impressed Smile
