HDMI AUDIO OUT SETTINGS FOR SONY STR DH810

Ive set hdmi control to on and audio out to amp and tv , now when i switchthe amp of sometimes its as if the amp has forgotten and no sound comes through the tv as i only use the amp for movies and sports events . i then have to re enter audio out to amp and tv , this is really annoying me im asking is there something ive missed as to why this keeps happening .

no sound from the tv .so ihave to re set the amp .

In which case I'd suspect a clash of HDMI control between the TV and the amp. Switch the HDMI audio output on the amp to 'AMP' rather than 'TV+AMP', turn off pass-through on the amp, and turn of HDMI CEC control on both amp and TV.

Are you talking about sound from the TV's internal tuner not coming through the TV speakers? Or sound from one of your other sources? I suspect an HDMI control clash somewhere, but the answers to these questions may help narrow it down.
