Harman/Kardon AVR 365 or Onkyo tx-nr609?

Hi there,

I'm looking for some advice on which of these to go for. The Onkyo retails at the moment for £380, and although the HK is approx. £300 more expensive (the cheapest I've seen on-line is £680), I can actually get a substantial discount on the unit.

I've read some reviews in 'What Hi-Fi', on-line forums, etc. and the Onkyo seems to be a great performer. The HK review on this site looks promising where is gets 4 out of 5, but it's compared to the Onkyo tx-nr709 not the 609.

Is there a substantial jump in performance between the HK and the 609? Any advice would be appreciated.
