Does my Denon AVR 1910 need a firmware update, please?

Hi Everyone 

I have the aformentioned AV amp and it will only play HD audio intermittently, the blue light comes on for DTS but more often than not no audio.   I'm playing a selection of Blu rays from a Cambridge Audio 650BD (all with DTS audio) and the player is set to bitstream.

I've read about this issue on numerous posts, on numerous forums, and there doesn't seem to be an easy solution. I am certain that everything is setup correctly on the player and the amp. Does the firmware update correct this fault?
