do i use both subwoofer outs
I have a rxa 810 amp which has twin subwoofer output, should i use a splitter and one cable to my q7000 sub for better performance
ok so is there any piont in puttong one one the sub as it has L and R in
The L terminal should also be labelled LFE, connect it to that one.
Again no, as the two inputs on the sub will be commoned into a single mono amp.
ok great thanks, i will keep to the same but if thats the case why do qed sell a subwoofer y-sw cable
Because a few subs work best when both left and right inputs are used.
i guess thats not the q7000
Indeed.
When you common the sub inputs you get additional gain + 3dB is normal. Andrew is correct in saying that the sub inputs combine inside the sub so there is no point in feeding both inputs - unless you are short of level.

No point -– both sub-outs are carrying the same signal, so a single cable from one of them to your sub will do just fine.
