Hi

Sorry if this ia dumb question or has been covered before but can't seem to find a definitive answer.

Have a Yamaha RXV771 receiver, blu ray etc. Should I choose to channel the sound through HDMI or my co-axial cable? Have:

HDMI - Audioquest Pearl
Co-Axial - QED Performance

Many thanks

Jonathan.

From Blu-ray player, HDMI.

If you happen to have Sky+HD, then you'll need to use a separate digital connection for sound if you want surround, as the Sky box only sends stereo over HDMI.
