Denon Cara good enough for Monitor Audio Apex?

I'm thinking of buying the Denon Cara S-5BD now that prices are no longer extortionate. I also have my eye on the Monitor Audio Apex loudspeakers. Do you think the Denon will do this justice? Or is there an alternative for this package?
