Cheap receiver with analogue to HDMI upscaling

Hi! I'm looking for a cheap receiver capable to convert analogue video to HDMI 1080p. The new Onyo seem to be capable of upscaling 480i input only. Living in a PAL country, that's more or less useless.
New Yamaha receivers can't convert analogue signals to HDMI anymore.

Should I go for the old Yamaha (RX-V667), or can I get something better (300-500€)? I care most about it's image quality when upscaling video games (Playstation 1, Playstation 2), but I will use it for movies as well (not for music).
