Can the Yamaha RXA3010 work with remotes from the other Aventage models?
I have the 3010 at home demoing and love the sound but HATE the large, heavy remote.
When i had the 1010 the remote was small as most av receiver ones are. Could that one be used with this model?
I know there is a smaller remote but it doesn't have the ability to change settings etc.
These recievers have pretty much the same features just different power output. I would much prefer to use the 1010 remote if it works.
I really hope i can swap my Marantz for this one. The Marantz was an ex demo bought about 7 weeks ago. This is an ex demo too.
You can try it out, but as I say, there's usually a few things that won't work. Unfortunately, you never know what it is that wont work until you try it...

Or if you want an even smaller remote try the Yamaha controller APP for IOS and Android smartphones, its very nifty, alternativelt you could buy a fancy Universal remotes which can be quite small aswell depensing on the make and model, plus it will control all your other devices :grin:
They're usually slightly different. Basic controls will be the same but little bits and bobs might no work with other receivers.
