Bi-wiring '81 amps.

Hi

I want to bi-wire my Pioneer 81 amp - it runs in 5.1, yet the manual says use the rear surround channels for bi-wiring??

Can I use the side surround channels and get the same effect?

Any help greatly received.

Thanks,

Jason.

I imagine it probably says use the rear-surround channels for bi-AMPing.

Probably not, if you're running 5.1 then you should be using the side surround channels for, well, the side surround speakers, rear surrounds are only used in a 7.1 configuration, that's why they can also be used to bi-amp the fronts if you wish to do that (and providing the amp allows for it).

Thanks - i've re-read it and it actually says use the back surrounds for bi-amping - makes sense!
