Hi,
Can anyone tell me the best volume settings for a Yamaha Receiver to get the optimum sound effects. My amp is a RVX 2400 which is conneted to 5.1 Accustic Energy Evo Egis 3B speakers.
Volume for the front and right floor standers?
Volume for the centre speaker?
Volume for the rear L & R speakers which are on atcama stands?

This is impossible for anyone to know, almost every room has a different shape acoustically & place speakers at different distances from their main listening position because of these constraints.
So bearing this in mind i would suggest you buy or borrow or if you have a smart phone download an SPL ( Sound Pressure Level ) meter & use that upright on a tripod in your main listening / viewing position & just set the speakers all to the same volume level individually in that position, this will probably be the best result you can get.
