a 7.1 upgrade to 9.1 which amp

I want to add front hights to my 7.1 setup but i need to change my amp. I like the look of the onkyo 709 but on the spek list its a 7.2 av receiver but has 11 speaker terminals. onkyo market the 1009 as a 9.2 amp so dose anyone know whats what.
