609 or wait and get 709 is it worth the extra?

hi all,

had my heart set on a new onkyo 609 but as i dont need it for at least 6 months should i save the extra and get a 709. is it worth the extra £300?

i'm using 602 s3 htm61 and looking on ebay for a pair of 685's

will be used for music and movies equally.

any thoughts?
