Will my Australian TV & Home Cinema System work in the UK?
Morning everyone!
I have just moved back from Australia and I am thinking of shipping my Panasonic GT30 TV and Home Cinema System back home (it works out a lot cheaper than buying it all again!). I am just wondering if it will work ok?
If anyone has any experience of this then it would be a great help!
Thank you very much
Nick

For those sad enough to attempt pathetic humour on this rather dull Sunday morning ..
It won't work unless you are willing to put up with an up-side-down picture.
O - and dont forget to swap left and right channels too.
Sorry !
Welcome back to the UK.

should be no issues voltage wise, both countries use 220-240v power although you'll have to change the plugs or power cables.
the only issue is if the pana tv will accept the different digital sound encoding used by the broadcasters of the terrestrial channels, i'm led to believe that the uk uses dolby ac3 as opposed to mpeg used in oz.
