Great news but OMG how do I do it?
Well after an in-depth conversation with Mrs. P, she's fully behind me. Another bonus is the bro-in-law said he'll take some paid holiday and cover my business while research continues.
Great stuff.....there's life in the Old Penguin yet.
If you get stressed, you know where to come for help..........

I'll remember that, especially if I get writer block, and pester
you guys for inspiration...
Won't be placing the creative hat on for about 2-3 weeks. Starts in earnest next week. Just been reading some stuff from the internet.
Already I've formulated how I want the script, the basic plot, and told in a very different way; retaining the integrity and spirit of the place and its employees is crucial.
Remember, a little Mozart helps the creative juices percolate.
Nah, not when you've got Chopin.
Oh well, I'm geared up for tomorrow. Had a telephone call from one of the production companies to ask whether I'm up to interviewing one of Barnes Wallises daughters. I've met one, Elizabeth, as she used to work with the ma-in-law and still shops in Dorking. Met her on one occasion and she has a dim view of her father, although, apparently, age has soften her views. Slightly apprehensive? You bet.
Looking forward to the challenge of writing (adrenalin pumping as we speak), but the thought of interviewing one of THE family members - probably won't be arranged for two weeks or so - is a little foreboding.
I'll check back in in a couple of weeks.
Cheers, pp.
