[Note to self: Do not mis-spel]. I was blind baking pastry while posting this and I've singed the crimps (very painful).

Cut to the chase: When ITV came to film us a couple of weeks ago I took it upon myself to thrust one of my scripts at the producer. I had little to lose and just milked the idea. Anyway, I checked my private emails this evening - first time since Monday - and he replied back saying he had passed it on to the 'suits' and they seem to be making the right noises. He concluded by saying he/they will contact me within a month to clarify a few things.

What's this to do with you? I wrote, about 18 months ago, a script about a person obsessed with certain baked products. Originally I wanted it to be a serious drama - it just didn't work! In the end I decided the ONLY way such a surreal story could manifest any credence is for it to be funny: I can't write comedy, so ended up with a 60 page droll comedy or a farce. So not hysterical but highly amusing.

Really don't know whether it'll disappear into the abyss of some ITV vault or if it is genuinely positive. Should find out within the next 3-6 weeks.

Thanks for the inspiration. At the very least it's initated a response.

Anyway, back to the oven...poke, prod

It's Saturday so John should be obsessing about a bag of Gregg's hot sausage rolls (and tomato soup) about now.

That was me last night. Gawd I feel wrecked.

Wow, I really dig the new avatar. In the 3 years and god knows how many weeks I've been on this forum it's the first neo Andrew pic I've seen. When's the full size version of the picture due back in the window?Wink

Well you are very welcome.  Hopefully you will be hob-nobbing with the media glitterati soon...
