IPHONE 4S Camera stopped working

Recently got a 4S 16GB, and have managed to take a 100 photos and some video, then intermittently the shutter image would stay on and take ages to open, now it stays locked all the time. I checked the Apple forums and lots of people are having the same problem and getting their phones replaced, not sure if that is just in the US. Anyway one else having the same issue?
