Ta.

I figured they would have to launch soon because of Christmas and the Nexus 7.

Just so long as it isn't a 'rush job' and everything works, and mine doesn't have bits hanging out or put on/in the wrong way around Smile

Hopefully - as the iPad technology is 'mature' now - it'll be bug-free.

Yeah that don't stack.  I'm thinking £280.

Depending on what you need a tablet for, a 7" 64GB Blackberry Playbook comes in at £129 .. awesome for Internet browsing (inc Flash), Email, HDMI video playback. Granted it's not an iThingy ...

I did think about one of those, but in the end balked at the paucity of apps and got a Nexus 7, and very nice it is too (moans elsewhere notwithstanding).

Nice one .. The Nexus 7 is a good choice also. Regarding the Playbook, the apps are not an issue for me as the catalogue is growing, and you can run Android apps also. The OS upgrade to BB10 in the new year should make for an impressive upgrade and the hardware is more than capable of keeping things running smoothly. Other than the generous hardware spec., the other standout feature is the browser .. it really is an excellent experience on this device.
