Samsung Ch@t 335 Facebook trauma - on Orange

I purchased a basic smartphone thinking that at least some of the smart features would
actually work.

WRONG!!

The Samsung chat supports SNS, and so I thought the provider Orange did too!

Logging in to Facebook with the default SNS profile - Orange WAP GRPS,
gave me nothing but "Internal Server error"s

Changing the profile to Orange WEB - did get me logged into a very slow buggy service.

Updating status was not possible - sure the phone said "Updating....." but seemed to hang the
phone and not update the status when it did recover!!

Logging off was another headache, said 'disconnecting.....' and left the phone as if it was crashed.

All I got out of Orange customer service was their dismissal of supporting sites like facebook.

I would guess their own servers are the problem - so they don't support their own technical infrastructure
for SNS?

I've read that downloading the facebook mobile app crashes this phone, so no joy there either!!

Well at least the phone part works!!
